Rick there's no way that I know of to set the height unless you put it on a toggle and kill the power where you want it. I got a friend that bought a power antenna off of ebay and it was as tall as a cb antenna. He put it in the corner of his front bumper and looked like a jdm bumper pole. He put a toggle switch on it so he could adjust the height.

Ok here's a pic of what I've been playing with. I got a K&N snorkel adapter for my weber. The tubing is leftover intercooler piping. I taped it together to plan the routing and plan to get it welded together. The filter is just stuck on there cause the diameter is too big. Gotta get a smaller one. Whatcha think?

i'd rock it mikey, but, im not so sure you should run the filter to the hotter side of the engine right near the exhaust... could route it down to in behind the endcaps of the bumper if you want that "cold air feeling" just make sure you put in the water bypass filter or whatever its called...

the air sponge it the upper section of pipe so you cant suck water up your intake and into your engine

I've got a 45 angle I can use right before the filter and kick it towards the rad support. Thatll put it between the overflow tank and the coil which is far enough from the header.

i think with the 45 it will put it in a good spot to pull cool air from the grille. could drill a hole in the core support to allow more cool air to flow while driving too (could use a dimple die to make it look like a factory hole)

ok cool i just did the same thing but it looks like yours is sticking in alot more than mine might just be the offset of the rims mine are +40mm, i might just narrow mine a 1/2 inch on each side

That's odd, mines. +38 offset so my should stick out farther than yours
