"see what had happened was......" the grey primer i bought looked too close to the rattle cans at walmart. i didnt want it to look like i rattle canned it. i took a few spoonfulls of the red paint and mixed it with the primer and thats what it came out looking like. im cool with it and my daughter loves it. if you dont like it just remember, my engine bay looks better.....lol

saturday night you were beside me one minute and the next you were gone. we asked the cop if it was cool to drag and he said do whatever till 1am. i stood at the tents yelling your name and couldnt see you.

so i have to ask why pink man.

Okay, Okay, its your story and I will let you tell it. I won't even call the local shop to ask how long you spent thumbing through the paint chip catalog for that color. And yes your bay looks better than my whole entire truck. I am working on it though. Black is taking over the outside slowly......-Ed

Droppedmydawg in no way was that aimed directly at you. That was just a general statement to the purple haters. You know we cool and I love your truck. I primered the truck at night. When I was spooning the paint in I couldn't tell a difference so I kept spooning that shit in. Got up the next morning and looked at it and thought, "omg what have I done......" haha

haha reminds me of the time I started using HOK primer, I thought it was tan like most epoxy primers but it when the two parts mix it becomes neon green

Looks good Mikey. I had a Pepto Bismol Pink painted bug in the late 80's. I would paint my truck pink too, but there was an x-cab at West Coast Nats painted candy pink (owned by a girl from Freaks of Nature).
