Ha ha too common eh? I almost bought a set off trade me for $1200, but for only $300 more was able to buy some 18x8 1/2" SSA rims new from a shop.
Your ones look pretty good though, most of the polished ones look pretty average in person.

did you just put the hub on the stock mazda spindle? you use the rx7 bearings or what? any more info on this please

the hub is a series 4/5 rx7.has been machined on the inside where the bearings sit to accept new bearings.if your going to use the series 6 rotors the outside diameter of the hub need to be machined down aswell.the series 6 discs are 20mm bigger which is why i wanted them.tried to use a series 6 hub but but the series 6 spindle isnt tapered like the b2000.hope that helps,im not doing the work myself so thats it to the best of my knowledge.

how about the calipers? did they go on, or is it a bracket job for those?
