BigAmigo has it right - SWEET looking color. Should be very nice in the sun especially once you have it glass smooth. Look forward to the July 4th "sparkle" pics

okay Linn I tried to catch a sun pic but I'm a little late in the day to get overhead sunlight. I had the final coat sprayed about a hour after these pics. No buffing yet maybe monday night, as I will be gone all weekend.

Lookin good Dale! Now for the fun part...... wet sanding LOL. I know my daughter knows exactly how much fun wet sanding is LOL. Assuming you have enough paint on there, that thing should end up smoooooth as glass which will really compliment the smoothed out back wall.

Jeff had a good point, if you can move the bed up just a little, that would lessen the amount of light between the cab and the bed. Another thought to help show off the back of the cab would be a side tilt bed. Going the fill dump bed route would mean "more" clearance between the cab and the bed, not less. If you have one more port on your tank you could use a couple of additional air valves and a single bag to tilt the bed up - very cool (hint hint).

lol..... nope no wet sanding. this is single stage it would trash it to wet sand it. It smooths out pretty decent with the buffer. Later on I will do a base clear, when I can get it in a booth, then yeah it will be perfectly smooth. But I have a $100 bill in to the paint total so it's just a shiny primer

I decided against a tilt bed, I am going to build a custom bed floor though out of tubing and sheet metal. I want to have a recessed tool box built in to the floor in the front above the 4 link, and make a access above the axle also so it's accessible for shows or working on.
