when you got the truck did the previous owner set the truck up to lay on 20s? or did it just happen to work out? i know i would have to tub the firewall and maybe some notch work in the rear but i wonder if the 20s would work on my truck. im thinking no since i bagged it on 17s.

Nope it was not set up for 20" it was set up for 18" keep in mind my 17" were only 1.5 inchs smaller than my 20"s are in overall height.

they make some pretty small ass tires for them 20's... i have 225-30-20's and they're 25.3" tall. they're just under an inch smaller than the stock 205-75-14 tire. a 205-40-17 is about 23.5" tall... so my 20 is less than 2" taller than that size 17"

depends on how far your bodydropped too... the more bd, the closer the firewall is to the tire. i had to tub the shit out of my firewall, i did go a little overboard tho incase there's ever a thought of going bigger than 20's, or just a meatier tire.... i'm bd 3.5"
