s-10s need cups in the front, because they have a huge pocket formed into the frame where the spring is supposed to sit. The cups are needed to bolt the bags to, and to space the bag down, so you can use more of the stroke...

^ Thats not what we are talking about.

I used a cup out back because it saves room. Its a total of 4" diameter, and the bolt pattern on the bag is small and easy to get a socket into. Your traditional bag mount is about 7" diameter, which I simply do not have room for.

Ahhh, sweet! Cause the cup shape gives it its strength as well and its basically its gusset. That is pretty cool!

Dang! Those shock mounts are badass! lol, might have to copy you now! They mounted on the LL at the bottom?

What do you do to weld them to the bars? PICS?!

What do you mean LL?

On the link bar, I used a flat tab, and TIG welded a 3/4" spacer to it to keep the shock body away from the link bar. The flat tab I mount flush with the side of the bar, then run gussets to the other side. Simple single shear mount.

LL= Lower link...

You should get some pics?! Looks pretty cool!

BTW, Is that a complimentary case of beer I see?

I will when I get the link bars off for finish welding. I tried and they didn't come out.
