I replaced the stock rag joint on the column at the firewall. It was binding up, and made it difficult to turn the steering wheel. There wasn't any direct replacement joints, so I bought a generic one made by Sweet Manufacturing and adapted it to the stock steering shaft. I made it bolt to the stock rag joint flange for easy installation and removal. Obviously I haven't redone the bag mounts on this side, but you can see how phucked they are. I really hate cutting and grinding, so I have been adressing the little issues lately.

that last pic with the bag mount is an example of minitrucking at its finest!! glad you're fixing that for him.

Yeah that mount isn't held on by much. And the welds look like chicken shit at best.

Got the driver side done, finally. I was really dreading all that grinding. Now onto the exhaust and the oil pan.
