my 83 b2000 project

must be the ignition switch man. after the truck is running the starter no longer plays a role. looks like we are both about to drop about 80 bucks.

maztang, i've got an ignition switch out of an 83 sundowner i picked up at upap to see if it would work on my 89. but if you need it i wont hack it up! they just got another 89 in so ill jack that switch. ill email u a pic of what i got to make sure its what u need

i need to finish the bodydrop on it and then i can put it back on. i plan on starting it hopefully next week. i wanted to start on it this week but a buddy of mine is bringing his race car over for me to do some things to.

You say ignition switch as in, put the key in the ignition and shit dont happen that ignition switch?

thats just the "lock" part of the switch. The switch itself plugs into that and has about 12 inchs of wiring that plugs into your wiring harness. if you take your colum cover off and look at the ingnition youll see what im talking about! Ill email you a pic. i dont have anyway to post pics yet!
