I would love to add on to my garage, but the Cypress City permit depatment won't allow it. It is too close to the street and the neighbor's house. I agree with you though, nothing about this truck is practical!

Any pictures of the truck finished from RESO? I am in the process of building my mazda b2000 short box right now. Sadistic Iron Werks has already back halfed it and much more to come. I would love to see your interior and finished front clip. Just one question though, why did you go with the toyota front clip in the first place?

Oh, and I went with the Toyota front clip for a lot of reasons. First, my original clip was toast from multiple setups and excesive drag sessions. Also, the Toyota clip has better geometry with less camber change through the range of travel and it has the lug pattern to match the Toyota rear. The front I got is also slightly narrower than stock so I have no clearance issues with my wheels. It is just a better front suspension.

This weekend some guys from my club are goining to help me start disassembly. I have to do some soul searching to see where this project goes from here. I finally sold some of my other projects to fund this one. (My hearse and 59 chevy) It would be easiest to take it down to the frame and build it for show, with chrome and paint. Something in the back of my head tells me to swap the sheetmetal on my other truck and keep it in this design, while having the roadster made into a tandem, a completely new truck. The paint on my bed is still good and if I put the front clip on my other truck, all I would need was to have the cab color matched. What do you guys think?
