very true. my dad is good friends with a guy that use to own a bodyshop and they traded skills. my dad would build an engine for him and in return he would get a crummy paint job. it would look good at first but a few months later, it was garbage.

i have been pretty lazy lately but i put the filler on last night, and i will be sanding it down tonight here are a few more pics before she gets painted

i need to learn to fiberglass...

i can do metal work and woodwork... no glass though...

looks good im in the middle of glassin a mustang dash for mine! lots of work to get it prefect but its well worth it in the end, looks good bro keep it up!

well, i am just about done. had to lay a little more glass cause i sanded through in a couple spots, laid some more filler in a few little areas, and tomorrow night i should be finishing it up. then paint on saturday. hells yeah!

wow your truck is in your basement 2? you should see all the funny looks i get when i tell people my truck is in my basement.

Sanding sucks though. Need to come up with self leveling bondo that requires no samding to make it perfect. Hey, it could happen. Maybe LOL

haha, yeah i wish. i don't mind sanding but getting the fiberglass all in my arms sucks!

and i wish i had a basement to work in. haha, no kidding i am really working out of a 4x4 closet, sitting indian style. haha. but it is getting done.
