2 bars forward, 2 bars back. Thats whats on my fullsize. Works awesome to keep the axles centered in the wheel well.

But its not a good setup on mazdas because the the pinion angle is extreme and will destroy your tranny!

whats up with the WAY oversized driveshaft notch? you think you got enough clearance?

i have the big notch for the drive shaft cuz
down the road i might run bigger wheels....so i figured better to be safe then sorry..

BINGO! it could pull the slipyolk outta the rear
not just mazda's but any truck will have severe pinion change over it's range of travel.
if you have to have to have the top bars going the opposite way from the bottom ones, i guess it's better to have the tops facing backward. i've seen it the other way!!

anyone know whats the degree of pinion on the mazd's?

we run the pinion at 2-3 degrees pos. (that's up) because the engine is at 2-3 degrees pos. too, and when the engine and tranny and 3rd member are at the same angle, that reduces driveline vibration.
