what do you need welded on your bed sides?

i bought a 4x4 bed a few months back and it was all rusted out. the only usable parts were the bed sides. so i cut them off and i just need to cut my 2wd ones off and weld the 4wd ones in their place.

sheet metal is some tough stuff to weld. i hope someone is up to it.
