Engine Swap?

I have an 88 B2200 Std. cab shortbed, and i wanna drop a motor in from a 89 B2200 Ext. cab shortbed, will it work! will my driveshaft fit in the trans from a b2200, my truck is a stick and the donor truck is auto! what do i have to do to make it work! thanks!!
