GM 1 wire alternator

im wanting to get a gm 1 wire alternator because of the high current draw from my stereo system..... i need to know the info i need, to tell the parts place..... any help would be greatly appreciated

pm slammedyota91 he has done the swap and is a wiz at systems. and he knows the numbers about rewinding them and all that mumbo jumbo. hes the man to talk to.

the unit im using is from advanced auto parts. think its 85 amps, 1 wire, and only like 29.88
