holley choke question

I just installed my holley carb and used the old choke wire off the alternator from the nikki carb, and it's not working. It worked just fine on the nikki, I just wondered what everybody else was doing for their electric holley/weber chokes?

nevermind, just figured it out. My nifty plastic carb adapter wasn't grounding the carb. Need to run a little ground wire. Thanks anyway.

h-m-m-m.The alternator is the main ground source for the whole truck's electrics.might want to check and be sure it is grounded properly as well.Glad u figured it out.BJ
