miata tranny?

I SAW A GUY USING A MIATA TRANNY, JOW HARD WOULD THAT BE?

miaya tranny- is the same family as a mazda truck- but the bell housing and tailshaft will have to be swapped with the mazda truck to get it to bolt back into the truck.

i want to put a miata transmission in my truck with the 86 626 turbo motor...has anyone ever completed a 6 speed trans swap....if that's not possible then is all you have to do for the 5 speed trans swap is switch out the bell housing and the tail shaft?

if i were to do the 6 speed trans swap i would have to keep the tail piece right? If the bell housings are swappable, making a trans cross member wouldn't be hard to do...and if i would have to cut a hole in the floor, that would be doable

the gears would be longer and there would be more options as far as clutch and flywheel options
