when i come up to a stoplight or stop sign, the truck drops below 250 rpm or dies... i just had the head rebuilt, with a valve job, and got it back monday... what can cause that? i took the truck to the shop and they raised the idle a little bit but it still dies...

holes in the vacum lines possibly if ur trucks is suckin to much arm it will idle super low or even die

If u look at the top of the intake plenum on the front there is a fast idle switch.There is a wire going to it from the harness.It actually can be adjusted with the gold colored set screw.First be sure its operating and if it is,u can adjust it out so the truck will idle faster.The end of the screw actually touches the throttle butterfly where u r accel cable fastens.BJ
