Wahoo! fixed my mileage problem!

I was two problems in one.

1st the exh was plugged with the old cats guts

2nd the previous owner screwed with the mix adjust and needed to be reset

Result..........

16mpg to start

then 21mpg after the exh (cat back) was removed

then 26mpg with carb tuned

and it doesn't burn oil........ever!!!!!!!!!!!

which cat was stopped up? i'll bet it was the one off the manifold!?!

glad to here you got it fixed, it will make a world of diff in power, not to mention your wallet!

There was only one cat, under cab, on the stock system (no mani cat) and it puked into the muffler, I guess I need some sort of muffler now.

The mileage is great 3/8th tank to go 220km =~ 530km/tank.

Since its almost spring its almost time to rip it apart and do rust work....yay.
