anyone here swapped out there 5 speed and put in an automatic ??
looking to do this swap possibly for my father as his arms and legs are not what they used to be. that and he has taken a liking to my parts truck and would like to get it running and use it for a run anround on the farm.

What a nice thing to do for your dad. . . might get it done by father's day. . .
You'll need a radiator with the cooling tube in it. Lots of other stuff. . .But is probably a direct bolt in.

could just get a tranny cooler i picked mine up for 100 bucks canadian its cheaper then buy a rad

A/T rads have a double row of coils in them.Serves 2 functions,cools the rad fluid when hot and warms the rad fluid when cold.Ur post indicates u live in a cold climate so u may want to consider the A/T rad for heating purposes.BJ
