"CARB GURU" I need help!

I'm about to out on a difrent carb. Mine has had a manual choke put on and the difrent one that I'm going to put on is just a factory carb. it has a yellow wire coming off the choke cut on it. What is it and if Mine doesn't have it were do I hook the yellow wire to!

If u r putting on the stock Nikki with an electric choke,u have a wire that comes off the back of ur alternator that hooks into the carb elec choke.Not sure if it is yellow or not.BJ

Electric chokes hook to 12 v ... make sure your engine is properly grouded

yeah sorry should have told you that there a place in the back of the alternator that the electric choke plugs in

It appers that this wire has been clipped off the carb! Is this wire something I can pic up at a autoparts store? if so what is the name of it! My main goal at getting a diffrent carb is to have the electric choke and get rid of the manual choke I have! Thanks guys for your help!

you should be able just to take a peice of wire soilder it to the choke and run the wire to the back of the alternator and just use a female spade connector on ill try to take a pic then to show you what i mean
