engine build

has any one built a pre 86 engine for perfomance? I have three extra engines and lots of extra heads and intakes. any one have any suggestions on this.

how many extra heads and intakes? i am going to rebuild my 83's eng. i plan on just boring it out .030 or .040 over and shaving the head with 2" exhaust, magnaflow cat and flowmaster muffler. other than that, pm nytrdr for where he is getting his eng work done, he sent me a list of parts for the 86-93 models but i am sure that the company can hook you up with other internals. i have both a weber and a holley for my 83. the holley is on it now. when i rebuild it i am going to rebuild the carbs too and see which one i like most.

i have two or three heads and intakes besides the ones that are on my complete motors. i have an extra nikki carb i was thinking of rebuilding but i think that im going to try to find a better carb somewhere.
