B2000 distributor

is the b2000 distributor a direct bolt in on a b2200 head i kinda broke my distrib cap and when i went and got a new one i got it for the 22 and it was wrong and it ended up it was for a 2000 that i needed ???? the motor is a B2200 !!!!

well i got one now i was just wondering if it was a do able or if the cheap prick i bought the truck off of threw something on he had laying around or if it was a legit thing you can do

yeah it ran fine i slipped with the rachect and snaped on eof the towers off i mena it ran good i was just wondering if there was reason to do it or if maybe other people have doen it

There is so much interchangeable between the 2000/2200 that I would not be at all surprised if the dist.were completely interchangeable.BJ

there are some differences in the dizzys, although minor, they can swap out & it will work just fine. i'm not sure about all the differences, it may be that you have to swap out the bottom half of the dizzy for them to interchange.....? i bought a new one from rpmz performance parts, the one for the 2k was @$200, the one for the 22k (one i got) was $400....
