So I get my new FlexALite fan in this week and after about three hours of cussing and wrenching we get everything hooked up tested out and jump in for a test ride.Head out to a little town about 40 miles N on I-75.Turn the A/C on ,set the cruise at 70 and cruise on out.Hit Athens, have a cool one and head back.Stand on the truck real hard and actually hit 90mph with A/C running.BEST THE TRUCK HAS EVER DONE.I am a believer in electric fans foe old dawgs. Truck maintained temp a little below the 1/2 way line, runs much smoother and I obviously picked up a few hp to boot.BJ

Bump.Sorry.Seat of my pants says it runs better not pulling all that rotating mass of a fan around so I guess that will work for me.BJ

GTechs are good but a dyno run should ony cost you $50 for 3 pulls.

I got what FlexALite recommended, the 110 that is set up for a truck with air.It is a puller model and comes on when air is turned on OR when temp hits a certain level.I was concerned that it wasnt big enough but I took truck to Atlanta and back on Monday in 94 degree heat and very humid and ran it 70-75 both ways and it stayed nice and cool and even a/c ran better.I was also concerned as I have an Audio blanket under my hood to keep engine noise down so I can hear audio better and truck gets a little hotter due to that.No problems so far.
