fuel cell/ square tubing

hi i live in longisland witch is right out side of n.y i need some square tubing so i can weld in a mounts for my fuel cells b.c i dont want it in the bed soo i was wondering how ppl mounted there fuel cells and if u knew any where to get some square tubing ?

Didn't you get the mounting straps with it? There should be some local steel shops around u theres a ton by me and suicidedoors is making custom bent tubing for whatever u need it for now...

thats what i was thinking of doing but i caant find square tubing no one in my town rele does this and the only welder in my town is rele over priced i got the straps but i want it like low87dawg

now with this setup is it flush against the bed and can you see it from behind hanging?

no it doesnt hang low at all my fuel cell is only 7" tall

no way with a 3 1/2" BD

any metal is outragous these days, esp steel & copper.
i bought some tube for mounting my cell last sunday
@ lowes, cost me @$165 for a couple lousy pieces of steel!!

3 ea 1" x 1" x 6' tube @ $22.95
4 ea. 1" x 1" x 4' tube @ $18.95
4 ea. 1/2" x 1/2" x 1/4" angle @ $4.95

i will be putting it in this weekend i'll take some
before & after pics.
