Couple Fuel Injection questions.

I want to switch my 92 b2200 over to fuel injection. Now I read a bunch of old posts and whatnot and I think the only parts I need are the intake manifold, wiring, and ECM from a fuel injected engine. This correct or is there other p[arts i will need. also I know the carbed trucks came with 8Valve heads, would I have an advantage running the 12Valve head? would it improve performance or anything or just be a pain in the ass.

Am I gonna run into any problems or anything being a bitch when I do this swap? I mean it dopsn't have to be completely bolt on but I don't want somethign where I have to fabricate a shit load to get it to work.

Fuel pump and fuel lines. Injected models require an electric fuel pump for higher pressure and new lines will need to be swapped in to handle the higher pressures.

Sounds easy - it is all basic mechanics - BUT the wiring may be the troublesome spot.

12 v head will be difficult to use because the distributor hangs off the back of the head and put's it past the firewall, and the intake manifold point the wrong way- putting it in the firewall too.

I'd use the 8 valve head, get an older 626/929 FI intake, or a oem mazda fi intake from the truck.

If you are using the stock engine computer for the fi b2200 trucks, you will need the mass air flow meter, the distributor, and all of the sensors.
