i have a 1983 Mazda b2000 just put a remanufactured carb on it and when i went to start it cranks but it backfires through the exhaust. its getting gas and i didnt mess with the timing the plug order is right, im pretty stumped!

you arnt over loading it with to much gas are you?

the floats good it shuts off the gas right were the line is set and i dont think iam overlaoding it with gas. i even tried starting fluid???????

the floats good it shuts off the gas right were the line is set and i dont think iam overlaoding it with gas. i even tried starting fluid??????? could it be that the carb is vapor locking, i also didnt know where the vaccum lines went so i just started pluging them in. a diagram would help but i cant find one anywhere.
