Mild Cam install

I just installed a mild cam and I'm wondering if I needed to do anything special for the install.

Timing?
Carb Adjustment?

2.2 L
Weber Carb 32/36
Headers
Flowmaster Exhaust
MSD 6AL
MSD Blaster Coil

cam shaft? Most people who switch cams usually have to go with the 86-87 manual adjust valves and ditch the hla's.
