yet another 302 swap question

anyone found a way to NOT use a Ford Motorsports short water pump? That thing is like $200 plus you have to get a pulley kit for like $100. If my calculations are correct, that's almost $300. Any ideas? And I'm not selling my blood again.

i didn't use one on my 351w

and you still had room between the pullies and radiator?

i only have like a 1/2 between pulley and the rad with my fan on the outside behind the grill..

i just used the stock one too and i have about 1/2" in between the pully and the rad. and i have 2 electric fans infront of the rad too.

you can grab a water pump off of a v8 expolorer. thats what i did. got that shit off Ebay for $40.00 hahahah
