Fuel Pump?

hey gys i hope you all can help me i put a manual fuel pump back on my b2000 and its not pumping into the carb.
Any suggetions?

dump a bunch a fuel down the carb to prime it. Also make sure the hoses aren't backwards

already did that like 5 time

I THINK IM JUST GONNA TAKE IT BACK AND GET ANOTHER ONE

I had a similar problem with my mechanical fuel pump.. it sat for so long that the diaphram inside the pump dried up and cracked when I went to use it. So then it wouldnt pump fuel.. got a new pump.. problem solved. Cheers
