my first build...help?

hey guys, im new here ive been lurking the forums for a few weeks, and decided it was time for me to sign up

im 18, ive been into mini's since i can remeber
this however is my first mini ive owned its along ways from where i want it
its a 92 mazda b2200 ext. cab
with a 22r swap
i caught a good deal on it, it already had a bunch of work done
kinda sucks, i was looking forward to shaving up a bunch of stuff










this is it so far
i ripped off the hideous hood before i drove it home

those wheels gotta go next, ive searched all over for 6 lugs, cant find em anywheres
they stick out past the fender wheels i got 3 in blocks in the back, 2 in dropped spindles up front, thats where im stuck at till i find new wheels

i wanna turn it into a roadster and use the stock top to bolt back on
i wanna bag it on a 4 link
and body drop it

i just recently started work on it, please guys tell me what you think
&& if you guys know anything about turning it into a roadster
or some kind of how to i can follow

its a good place to start. careful with the top. AIM Ind. has the only kit right now, but i just put one on my single cab, and recommend not to use aim, unless you have to. service sucks, especially on the weekends.the side swing gate is a nice touch

good base to start with. interesting motor swap choice.

can you post some pics of the hinge setup on the tailgate from both sides of the hinge?

I like the motor swap. I actually thought about doing that to mine. I have the 22re out of my toyota layin on the side of my house too haha.

man them 22r s are some of the best motors ever built right beside the sbchevy motors

good start loose the hood and get an air cleaner ASAP

i second the air cleaner and those rims i dunno bout those.....

u should go with some stock gm wheels...they are easy to find and usually pretty cheap...check on craigslist...

oh and X2 on the pics of the tailgate hinges...
