need opinion on rearend

First of all i changed the rearend in my 87 mazda to an 84, because it was narrower. I wanted the smaller rearend because i cut the rockers off and made some new ones so the body lays flatout when bd 3 1/4 inches. That way when i bd the bed i didnt have to worry about the tires rubbin a hole in the bed and i could keep the 2wd bed. Now the wheels come about 3/16 from the notch in the frame. Really dont want to backhalf it, was thinking of adding a 1/2 spacer and putting some longer wheel studs on.

Wheel spacers will work fine.

Im tring to find some longer wheel studs. The ones of the 87 rearend are a 1/4 longer than the ones on the 84. Would like to find some aleast 1/2 longer than the original one. Anyone now where i can find some longer wheel studs?

Check with your local parts store for longer studs.
