What are some people up to now?

Hey guys I was just reading through some old threads, and there are a lot of people who used to be really active posters here and now seem to hardly visit the site. Does anyone know what might have caused them to not come here as often?

I'm just trying to make sure it isn't site related. We fixed a lot of issues this spring which were pretty big and I can see it causing people to not visit the site as much. The auto login not working, the cookies needing reset causing some people problems logging in, and probably the biggest was the slow server. I know the economy is keeping a lot of people from working on their trucks and some even from having internet access but it can't be that wide spread can it?

Just seeing what you guys thought!

I have been on for a long time , more actively lately.
First I would say thank you, to you and the other founders admin and whomsoever is involved in the coolest site on the web.
Some people are selling thier trucks but still are around. the economy has kicked my butt real hard, but I still have internet, and it is one of my only forms of entertainment.
As people sell their rides, those that buy them will find us here eventually.
I am never gonna sell my truck!!
I am not gonna stop participating online.
I am MAZDAMANDAN, got that nickname almost before the internet, lol
I did however stop my sub to Mini truckin mag, I no longer identify with it.
I am not in the "lifestyle" they are promoting, I am a builder, I wanna talk to builders and people passionate about being creative with the coolest truck ever made.
Again thanks and keep it up.

Unfortunately Baha, I think it is that widespread. Especially when you think that mini-truckers in general are low budget customizers, with us Mazda guys being low man on the totem pole. I have noticed a lot of builds that sold for less money that it cost to build them. This economy is killing it. I have tried to advise some of the other people on this site not to sell their trucks, if possible. It is really horible to think that mini-truckin just might not be in reach for some people.

good piont rick, when things were better, I had to buy a house, project truck, then built a garage, then bought tools , now building the truck, it is not cheap especially takining it to the next level with full customs, not just "customised" with small bolt on stuff, like in times past, ya gotta do more and more crazy mods to get attention these days

I've noticed that to Rick it's really sad. I was into muscle cars before trucks and really loved customizing trucks because your money went a lot further. I hope the economy comes back soon!

I was wondering about this to, I used to chat with a lot of folks on here with pre 84 mazdas and etc.... They have seem to vanish off. Hard to believe how long I've actually been on this site.

For a long time everytime I would log in it would log me right back off. I still have to log in everytime BUt at least I can post now. Before I couldn't even post. Then with the big move up north I am finally getting back on here regularly. Hopefully you will have some new members coming on. I give out a lot of the decals you sent at Resurrection 2K10.

I can fix that for you. If you want I can login from remote and fix it on your computer. I was afraid of that still happening for some of you. I'm sure a lot of people got frustrated and didn't even tried the tutorial but I had to do it to fix the auto login.
