So my POS Grand Am crapped out on me on Christmas day. Blew a hole in the rad tank and pissed coolant everywhere. Plus the headgasket was leaking as well.
This Grand Am was without a doubt the worst car I have ever owned. Fun to drive, but everything was wrong with it. It was the true definition of the term "beater."
So,lastnight around 9:30pm, I picked up this pretty decent 1991 Honda Accord SE.
It's got 207k KM on it, black leather,heated seats & mirrors,power sunroof,cruise,tilt,AC,power windows and locks and all that jazz. It has everything except the OEM cd player option. I already installed my Sony headunit in it this afternoon.
As you can see, it has some minor damage on it....rear door, corner of the hood and the corner of the bumper. The car was in a minor accident and repaired. All that stuff is repairable..just gotta find parts to replace 'em...all bolt on stuff.
I paid $800 for it. I've never ever been a Honda fan, but I have always secretly liked this generation of Accord. I actually really like this car. Now I see what all the Honda guys are on about. I never thought I'd see myself in a Honda. Well, that day came and I'm not ashamed to say I own a Honda now.
I'll probably fix this car up a little...straighten out the body, lightly mod it. Wheels and stuff. No fart can or wing for this puppy though.

Funny thing is, I saw it on Kijiji for sale, and in the photo, in the background I could see the building where I work. He was the guy that works at the shop just down the street from there. It was his mother's car and she bought a new car, so she wanted him to sell it for her cuz she knows squat about cars.
Other than the minor damage, this is the nicest car I've had since my Cadillac Catera. That car dies a horrible death...timing belt on the highway at 75mph.

So I just picked up a 93 Accord from the same guy for $300. Just needs a TCM computer.
