looks like the mazdas are gone. tradin the 93 on a 87 K20 chevy. i've been wantin a fullsize chevy ever since i got rid of my 91 W/T a few years back
(sheriff was lookin for it, long story) so this guy that comes into the shop alot, slick rick, told me he found a 3/4 ton chevy 4x4. well i called him and wanted to come check it out. he'd sold it already. then my friend 'super-tim' called me and told me that he found a 3/4 ton chevy just down the road from him and the guy was lookin for a smaller 4x4. turns out it was the same truck. went and test drove it tonite, he tested my truck. looks like its a done deal.
then decided i'm done messin with the 89. guy who's helpd me haul parts and the 93 home sed he'd give me $200 without the wheels and weber. looks like it be gone soon too.
the main thing in the decision is my job. i make a whoppin 300 a week and the mazda parts are outrageous and nearly impossible to find. the chevy's are cheaper to work on and parts are everywhere.
so its been fun y'all. y'alls a whole different crowd than the other forums i've been on. i might still hang around a bit. thanks for all the help.

I hear ya on the money issues. Bought my truck and basically haven't touched it since. Too much life stuff getting in the way.
But hey, I didn't have a real Mazda for over a year and I still hung around here. Your seat's always gonna be here and the beer is always gonna be cold.

and yeah mazda parts might be spendy (? really ok) but that chevy will get shit gas mpg. mazda will get 20+

well i only drive 6 miles to work and back. i dont really go anywhere and if i do, we take her escort. plus i dont make alot of money. chevy parts are abundant here. mazdas are almost as bad as lookin for ferrari parts. it sucks. already lined up a bunch of parts for the chevy just gotta save a lil bit. DAMN CHRISTMAS TIME!

got him home yesterday after work. aint really goin anywhere til i git temp tags probly tomorrow before work. did however have to run to town and git a few things. dont wanna do what i did over summer . well i was headin back on CR 9 and hit the straight stretch. figured i'd see how he'd run. gave it bout 3/4 throttle and went from 50 to 65 like nothin. man i love my small block chevys! hahahaha
got a few pics. its perty ugly.
so far my plans are just git the engine a lil stronger (cam, exhuast) body panels, and suspension lift. no body lift here. oh yeah, and find a decent set of newer chevy rims and some mudders.
