Quick sketches

Since I haven't worked on my truck in about a month, I decided to whip up a couple quick sketches to get myself motivated for some ideas and such.

I'm wanting to go with a sporty theme with the truck, so made a few exterior additions etc. I was just throwing some ideas around. I'll probably do some more later.

Nice sketches Mikey! I like the muffler centered under the roll pan - very cool. So whats your idea for a grille? Mesh? Eitherway looks good!

I will most likely end up going with a home made billet or stainless steel tubing grille, kind of like on the grey 84 that was in MT Mag. If I go with the mesh, it'll be the proper steel mesh used in all the aftermarket grille kits.

Out of the 3 grilles I have, only 1 still has all the slats intact, and only 1 has the chrome surround.

Well i can certainly help you out with the billet grille approach. Have made a few of them and honestly it's not really that hard. Best part is you can make a billet insert for the main grille and a matching insert for the area below the bumper.

yup, i remember that thread. The Pre's don't have an open lower valance to put a grille in, so I'll just be doing the upper.

I would also like to make a small lip spoiler for the front valance as well.

Maybe I could be super cool and make a phantom grille for the pre. Never seen that before.
