its been fun

I have been looking around this site for a couple years now. i dont really know to many people on here and i only have about 150 posts but i have learned alot from you all. i have to many projects in my little 32x48 barn and not enough time and money to finish them all. so im sending the 87 reg cab to the scrap yard. i kept alot of parts from it for craigslist or ebay to try and get some money back. i really love the look of these trucks and really dont want to get rid of it but the damage had been done with it sitting in weeds for to long. im sure somtime i will get another and maybe we can start another project together. im sure i will still look on here you guys build some killer rides and never get enough credit for them. thanks for all the info over the last 2 years.

but take it ez, and have fun. stop in here and there to check it out.

i'll keep my truck going forever cause it's cheap, and easy! lol to work on, and very useful. i had all cars before, minus my old '91 escort gt hatchback nothing compares... cause i can be driving down the street and see something interesting/of use to me and throw it in the back!

Sorry to hear your getting rid of it man

the truck is in pretty bad shape. needs alot of work. and like i said i love the look of these trucks and there is a great chance im going to get another one later on. i had bought a s10 project from a friend of mine who got screwed on a deal with a shop in the st louis area. it had been a very nice show truck won many trophies at local shows and took a 3rd place at a dub show and world of wheels. after being screwed he no longer had the money to finish it and it sat for 3 years. he had told me i was the only person he would sell it to and i thought that should be one of my priorities to finsh before show season. i will for sure stop in and out and check things out. thanks for the good words. maybe if i dont get trashed to much for it being an s10 i will post some pics of the new project.
