WOW, been around some serious flooding and that definitely sucks. Hopefully whats left in the garage can be cleaned back up without to much trouble. I know when a house gets hit usually whats in it gets trashed (clothes, pictures, furniture, etc) Good luck down there - hope the water does not get any higher!!

What photo resizing software is free and works with Windows 2000?

on my pc i use just the basic paint program to size them down. i just put them down to like 50% of the original. or upload them to photobucket and it will automatically resize them for you

Regarding photo resizing, open the photo with microsofts paint (start,accessories-paint). once the image has loaded select image from the toolbar, and drop down to resize image. you can do it by percentage or to a specific pixel number. 800x600 seems to be a good size for posting here if you want to go by pixels. if you are scaling down, and it seems too small, go back to the original before trying a different size. otherwise when you try to make the image bigger, it will pixelate because it will stretch it from the last size.

Thanks for the answers about pixelization. Sort of like streaching truth or logic.
I did resize this one 50 % using paint. 5.1 . But my normal windows box is running W2k, and it doesn't offer that option in that version of paint,
So my question (new question) is what free software does resizing as a replacement for paint in W2k
