Other hobbies

My other passion besides trucks is "water features" here is my latest almost complete project My back yard (or at least a corner of it). its 15' x 18' and is 4' deep and the deep end and its got two water falls and a small stream. My "goldfish" have been happy making babies so i have about 100 fish in there. I know its not as cool like some of your hobbies but it keeps me sane.

Other hobby....cooking. I like to try gourmet cooking and BBQ. I like to try new techniques and foods. The pride of my collection is my chef knife my wife got me for Christmas. I know sounds corny but it is a $70 knife. A good knife makes a HUGE difference in your prep time. I have pretty much decided that if I ever do go back to school it will be a culinary school.

Chris - excellent work on the landscaping - water works. And as far as I am concerned anything that keeps you sane is a good thing! Will have to post some pics of out back yard. But will have to admit, I had little to do with it other than slave labor for my wifes ideas.

Jeff, absolutely nothing wrong or "corny" with preparing great tasting food. Myself I am a BBQ master! Dogs, burgers, brats and occasionally steaks - I've done it all LOL. Other than that I can't cook for shit, but I think I have learned how to burn water

BBQ you should try fish, ribs, pork shoulder, lamb, brisket, turkeys, shrooms, veggie kabobs, shrimp, you name it I have probably cooked it on one of my grills or smoked it in my smoker. I have even done biscuits on the grill...and slow cooker for that matter (our stove was broke and we were VERY poor).

That all sounds VERY good Jeff! I was actually joking about being the BBQ Master. Compaired to most I am barely a rookie LOL, but I can tell when the brats are ready

Kabobs sounds interesting - will have to try doing those one of the days!

I live in Minnesota and im sure all you know that winters up here get pretty brutal.....Which in fact is my favorite season!! This is my other hobbie and my pride and joy...

Sweet.... I like it Chris. I want to do one in my backyard some day. I need to wait till the kids get a little older is all. Also trying to figure out how to blend a classy pond in one corner and the future front truck clip BBQ in the other.

A BBQ truck/BBQ front clip is always classy ...... the other side of our the yard sits the BBQ mazda. LOL

that is a killer looking pond chris. i used to do that with my wife fathers about 5 years ago. it was really cool. as for hobbies. i have 3 others besides minis.

1) nitro rc's
2) wheelin my jeep
3) paintball (i do this one once a month or so. it gets way expensive really quick lol)
