I am building my own hosting on my second tower. some people say they can see it some can't... let me know!

That is your internal IP address, 192.168.* is reserved for internal use. You need to accwuire your outward facing IP. Only those locally to you should be able to see that.

I've setup a ftp before I used dyndns since i have a dynamic ip that changes. Not sure if you have static or dynamic but thats one place to start.

its dynamic. its not really a big deal. im just going to pay to host until i upgrade services

Dynamic is realative though... I have Comcast and they rarely change my IP. I had a FTP setup as well and could run on the same IP for months! It was pretty small though, and my user base could be notified via e-mail when it changed. It was really small though, like 15 users or something.

mine changes every time i re sync my modem/restart.
