Center console

What do you guys use to make them. (posted here since it's for a 91 olds cutlass). i want to match the vinyl and incorperate my satelite radio, cupholders (none in teh car) and CD holder (can never have too many)

Just kidding. I usually use MDF,bendable plywood,and or fiberglass.Just depends on what look and shape you are going for.Here are a couple I have done in the past.

that first one is beautifull. i would love to do that to my car. what kind of fabric is that? And I'm kind of leaning towards the plywood, I think it will be easier for me to work with.

Thanks.The first one is a mdf frame with bendable plywood on top and covered in tweed.

too bad i would have to recover my entire interior, i hate the oldmobile blue interior, but I can't afford to change it. Did you use nails, or staples for the plywood? or glue?

Liquid nails and an air brad nailer and drywall screws in some places.
