the nerve!!

So we all know how it goes when selling on craigs...Im not new to it...I guess I should give the whole story here huh?

I am on the verizon network...my girl is on TMobile...well we were gonna switch my carrier over and yea I know...phone wont travel...so....I figured I would pay my termination fee with verizon, sell my phone I have and use that money to get the phone I would have wanted to have on TMobile and been done and happy. So I put my phone on Craigslist (which BTW I have a better than in new shape LG Dare...considering the phone was $400, the car charger another $25, ringers, games...etc...all of which I was leaving on the phone for new owner) and I was pretty specific in what I wanted in a replacement phone (I asked for either cash ($250) or a Samsung Behold or a Samsung Memoir which I consider to be equivalants to my phone, a unlocked but verifiable (have girl with TMobile so sticking the card in should prove it works) iPhone or a Blackberry 8320 or newer and some cash (cuz I dont consider Blacberry worth much to me so offset would be some $$) and ended the ad with no lowballers. With me so far?

Now in my ad I believe I was pratty descriptive in the entirety...those phones and/or cash...firm and local sale only, call me, dont email as I barely ever check it....etc.....

first email...I want your phone.....

ok...I write back...he shows me some beat to ass blackberry phone, all scratched up, 1st gen even and says I will give another $40 for yours....is that ok?

Next....ANOTHER email....I will give you $125 for your phone.

I almost went off on the guy...I mean CMON...I am offering up a $400 phone WITH extra accessories, stuff that cost me extra $$...and with the ad already saying no lowballers....this (I cant even come up with a good term for this guy...everything I wanna say is too vulgar for the forum) person offers me 1/2 what I consider a decent deal?

Now keep in mind...I am MORE than anal on my phones...I have never damaged one...it has been on a protector since day one, ghost armored and even when that got the lightest of scratching it got replaced, I wipe it down with a microfiber or a cleaning cloth.....etc....like I said...pretty anal, especially when something cost that much money.

I just couldnt believe these people.....was I not descriptive enough? Am I being unfair? Hell with offers like those....Ill keep the damn thing in its box and let it sit till I am damn good and ready to get rid of it.

But case being now...she and I had a lil tiff....so looks like I will keep it anyways, and my service for the time being....although..it is thru a ex of mine...and I havent seen a bill in a dunno how long now...so I wonder if she is keeping tabs on me via my phone records...part of the reason I want out of the contract so bad.

ok...end venting/ranting....I just couldnt believe these people....how very rude
