My truck got broke into last night

I went outside to get my cash out of my truck, was going to get a burker from Burger King and found my money gone. The guy accross the street came over and said he saw someone parked in my driveway and they were digging around in the neighbors car and then went into my truck. He called the cops and chased them, but couldn't get them before the left in their car. He said theleft without lights so he couldn't get a plate number. Last night I forgot to lock the door on the truck, and all they got was $13. THey didn't take my scanner which was laying out in plain sight, and they didn't take my Pioneer cassette player. All I can do is be thankfull they didn't break anything. Still pisses me off. All these years of having highend stereo systems in cars, and they break into my little truck. Lucky I guess

There has been alot of break ins lately, and nothing of any value seems to be taken. The part hat pisses me off is I can leave my '86 Cavalier on the street with the windows down and the $2,000 stereo in plain site, and no will mess with it. Forget the door unlocked on my truck and someone is right there to seize the opertunity. I wish I was awake when they came, they would have been met with a riffle in their face. It's loaded and on stand by.

Seems to be a crime spree lately. I remember when david's 94 B got broken into, they busted out the window because they couldnt figure out how to open a shaved door. They took his flip down screen, radio, tore up his console etc. it was such a violation to him that he just lost interest in the truck and ended up selling it. Its a shame people have to resort to this sort of thing.

where in the same boat man lol I got broke into as well they got my stereo and my radar detector phone charger my dual socket cigarette outlet sucks makes ya pretty mad.

If you do get an alarm, get a glass break audio sensor. It detects the sound of breaking glass. They are not too expensive an easy to add. I have done many. They can break a window with a spring loaded punch and it wont set off the shock sensor, but the audio sensor will pick it up. It happened to me and I lost a Valentine 1 radar detector. The shattered the window in my civic pushed it on the seat and reached in and took the detector off the windshield, never opened a door so they would not set off the door trigger. At least if the alarm is going off they may take off because they dont want the attention.

I put glass break sensors in everything now!

I have an alarm with the glass sensor, too bad it's on the Beretta that sits in the garage. I was talking with the neighbor again, he said it was a couple kids runnig around looking for unlocked doors. I'm still amazed they didn't take anything other then the couple dollars in cash I had sitting there. They could have taken my radio, scanner, a contractor hotel card (I can get into any room at this new hotel being built, I'm putting in all 276 doors), they weren't smart enough to take my garage door remote. They easily could have got into my garage and made off with several thousands of doolars in tools and stuff. They were amatures, probably getting money for drugs or alcoholic beverages. I got lucky.

i got broke into a few times, but the scond time was the worst

fakas jammed a flat head screw driver in my rh. door lock, wiggled up ad down wrinkling the door, mangled the lock, got in took all my speaks, left the head unit, puched holes in the pass. side dash pad above the glove and screw driver'd the glove box lock, got in there and got my digi cam, then took a one of kine maui built jacket thats rare as rare

i hate people, i relly do, you work so hard to get your shit all bus and they just move on, i would have takin his fingers, jus 9, so'll he'll think long and hard with the last one he's got
