You won't be able to get a complete running one shipped over here. US customs won't let it its not DOT approved, well you could but it would be a LOT of work!!!! That would only be about 2800 us dollars which would be nice. I just want a cab or cabin as they call it. Now that won't be to much of a headache to get through, its consider parts not a working truck. ONE DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i would love to get one... even if its not RHD... for now thats just a dream waiting to happen when the funds are available... anyone know what it would take to put a quad cab on an ext cab frame??? i know i would have to shorten the front of my bed box... but i dont care about that... just wondering how hard it would be, or if its even possible to put one on my frame...

Im almost certain that the ext cab and 4 door frames are the same because the bed is just that much shorter on the 4 door. I know the ext cab and reg cab longbed used the same frames, so Im assuming mazda didnt make a whole bunch of different frames.

I know everyone has an opinion on how to get one of these things state side....but as mentioned before...unless you have a special permit (like a collectors permit) you will only be able to bring in the cab. and NO frame or motor. NC4Life up above has a connection...still haven't contacted you yet on that either bro but haven't forgotten.... to get one state side for possibly less but I am looking at a min of $10,000 to get a cab, interior, steering linkage, doors, and all glass. You have to remember the following....You will need to have a down under connection (or spend more and take a vacation) to help purchase the truck, dismantle the truck, purchase a specific lumber as here in the states we do not except just any lumber from overseas, package the parts, and then sign off when a truck comes and gets it or possibly even deliver it to a dock to be loaded into a container for shipping. Then...you have to have all of your shipping docs in line for the trip and hope like hell that it passes customs. This is where it would almost be beneficial to pay a customs broker to deal with this headache. Then after customs you either have to pick up at the dock or have the container loaded on a trailer and then hauled to you. So....all in all it is an arse load of work. I will someday own one of these in the US.....I promise this.

I have a random question...how is it that we can get skylines and silvias imported here? Has anyone checked with one of the companies that imports from japan? If they can get the cars here Id guess they would be able to get trucks too...
