Nope I still have mine. If I can ever figure out the trans leak I am going to start driving it to work again.

Thanks speedster and thanks for the PM about my tranny problem. I think the answer is a 1" shorter driveshaft. I can adjust my Heims joints on the rear to move it back, but then it won't be centered in the wheel well. I am not even sure that it is damaging the seal. It might be just time for a new seal 'cause of age. I am going to replace the seal and see what happens. Mazda auto trans seals are a 5 dollar part.


I don't think I will part with this truck now. Too much time and money invested. I really think we are all nuts to invest large sums of money into these trucks when there is no re-sale value. I can't even insure it for what it is worth. Only PL/PD is availible. Of course this won't stop me from building another one.

dude you're tellin me about resale!! i've been thinking how much better it could have been if i put the same money and time into something old, say a 50's chevy. it'd be worth twice as much.lol oh well. like u said we're nuts
