i all most feel bad posting these, you guys are working in closets.

i built this about 10 years ago, 24 x 30, heat, a/c, 220v, compressor in basement so i dont have to listen to it(my woman hates that), sirius radio, 350 channels of dish network.....

not as tidy as you, space makes you sloppy.

This is the garage my dad built at our cottage (yes the garage is larger than the cottage, which shows our priorities). It's 20 x 40 feet, with the back 20 x 10 being a games room with a pool table, darts, arcade machine etc. This past summer we put an extension off one side another 10 feet wide and 30 feet long. we use this new room for all the wood working equipment (table saw, miter saws, drill press, dust collector etc) to keep the dust in one are. We also have a half floor above with a cheap winch on a barn door rail that we use for storing the dirbikes and lawn furniture in the winter, and the snowblower and other crap in the summer

My dad is a mechanic at home, so he put in a 9000lb hoist at the cottage so when he retires and moves up there, he can still fix local cars and do projects

I'm really lucky my dad is such a hands on guy, or i'd never have a shop like this to work in. that's why i really appreciate my parents.
