ext cab bed

have any of u guys try to run a ext cab 4x4 bed on a std cab?

wont work. the ex cab bed would have the wheels farther to the front of the bed than the standard cab bed.

ask sleepy or rog they have both it

I had trouble finding a bed for my Xcab, So we got a STD cab bed and cut the bedsides off and graphed them on the Xcab bed.....lots of work though

not quite todd, roger and I used standard cab boxes and cut them down to fit the ext-cab. To use a ext-cab box on a regular cab chassis you would either have to section the frame 8 3/4" between the cab and axle, or add 8 3/4" to the sheet metal of the front of the bed. If you cut the frame down you would also have to shorten the drive line, and re mount the gas tank
