Hay whats up guys i have an 88 b2200 and i filled it up and only got like 210 miles to the tank and there are no leaks or anything what gan i do to get better gar milage?
well a weber may help a bit ..
id tell you what mileage i get but i have only drivin my mazda maybe 2 miles and ive owned it about a year
23 city,27 road with a Weber 34.Be sure your tires are aired up to at least 32 psi,be sure truck is tuned properly, and avoid jackrabbit starts .if u r running the stock Nikki carb ur mileage will suck no matter what.if u set the timing up to 5 degrees BTDC and run a half tank of reg plus a half tank of 89 octane to keep valve rattle down ur mileage will improve 2 to 3 mpg.bj
mine averages 25-27 with the stock carb and thats even with a bunch of idle time for buildin air back up when the truck sits a few days cuz i have some air leaks i havent messed with
cool, but I doubt we are talking apples to apples.Mine is an AT truck with a cam, with stiifer valve springs,etc.etc.If it were stock I would get about the same as you I suspect.BJ
