need some pics on how to do the front without drop spindles, and will my stock ac pump work for an air comp?
Yes your AC compressor will work for a air compressor i did the conversion a couple of months ago on my roadster.
nice what do u need to do to it to make it work?
Only thing missing in the photos are i now have hose clamps at the barp fittings.
i have an engine driven compressor ,works great just had a hydraulic shop place fittings on ,added oiler, and i made a billet bracket i love it

Hey CL, shouldnt you be using PAG oil??? not 5w30???
And how often do you have to empty the filter and fill the oiler??
Do you have it hooked to a pressure switch or toggle switch???
And ya these babys will pump!!! My buddy had his done on a 350 chevy and he had it on a toggle switch. He forgot it was on one day and he pumped about 400 PSI in his tank....
First off i love it pumps some serious air and its quiet and my alternator keeps on running withought the drag the 2 compressors created. (but i do have a back up compressor just in case).
Everything i read was the 5w30 would run thru it fine and it seems too work great.
I have added oil once and drained it twice in two months but keep in mind i dont drive it much. And when i do i dont really play with the switchs much so i would image more like once a week for both someone correct me if i am wrong.
Both a toggle switch and a 150 PSI switch. My whole system is on a toggle switch.(keeps from having issues like 400 PSI in the tank)LOL

ok cool, i was jus curious about the oil, i know my buddy was puttin PAG in his. But Mazda is jus a LIL different then Chevy <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_biggrin.gif" alt=":D" title="Very Happy" />
I read somewhere that you could make the oiler and seperater into a circulating system. That would be the shit. Then you would have hardly any maintenance on it at all..... I don't know how you would do that though
although like your motor oil it would have to be changed regularly.... and basically you'd have to have the oiler under the separator for the oil to gravity fill the oiler and that just sounds a little complicated.... also condensation is going to build up over time and would degrade the oil.....
