help with a school project...

ok guys, i need some help. for my english comp 1 class i have to do a project. the project is to think of a social norm, and then break it one day, then write a paper about it. the only rules are that i cant get arrested, and i cant severely harm myself. so other than that, anything goes. any ideas?

Cross dressing in public?
Paying for everything in all pennies?
Getting me a room at the Hilton on Pensacola Beach (honeymoon suite with romance package) for my 5 year anniversary?
Be polite to strangers?

Breaking 'norms' ie: laws,will usually result in being arrested,beaten up or humiliated in public.

i have no problem with humiliation, i'm actually thinking of acting gay for a day with one of my best friends, to see the reactions i get, that or going to a group of jehova witnesses and asking them things about jesus and whatnot

I don't know about the jahova one. That is almost insulting. As far as the gay you would have to not act in a goofy way but in a serious way. My Cousin is a lesbian and lives it daily. You could then write your paper on the way others treated you and the reactions you get. However be prepared for quite a bit of argument in class (if in college) I don't think they will be to serious in High school.

Can't you write about being a die hard minitrucker in a ricer infested nation? Just a thought....

i wish i could, it would be a lot easier. i think i'm gonna either act gay, hit up some jehovah witnesses, or maybe go into a restaurant and not use any utensils, not even to get my food, just use bare hands the whole time
