rearend

i am putting a chevy 305 in my 2600i and wanted to know if chevy has a rearend that is 6 lug and narrower than the stock mazda i know that the ford courier will work but i dont want to have to get the hubs redrilled

A pathfinder rear end is about 2 or 2.5 inches shorter than the mazda rearend

doubt any of the chevy 6 lug rears will be narrower, probably on the contrary, they would be slightly wider than the mazda's

i just resently got a 2600i and the rearend is shot is it interchangable with a 2200

^^ no, different carriers, bigger ring gear....the b2600's rear & tranny are the same as the late 80's early 90's turbo rx-7's
